Winans Services Safety Program
Protecting the safety and health of our employees, our customers and our customers' contractors and employees is of paramount concern to us. Safety is the primary concern in all of our operations including industrial, commercial and residential applications.
Our Occupational Safety and Health Manual is an all-encompassing, task oriented program, and totally 
compliant.
The total safety program at Winans Services is supervisory driven. We place heavy responsibility upon our supervisors at every level for the coaching, encouragement and enforcement of on the job safety procedures by our co-workers.
All District Managers and Supervisors are given extensive training in safety through Safety Seminars at the corporate office. The program provides for an Executive Safety Counsel within the company made up of managerial, personnel, equipment and safety experts within the company.
The appropriate personal protective clothing and equipment required to work being done is used by our co-workers at the work site.
Enforcement of safety provisions is a cornerstone of our safety program. Individual co-workers of the company are held accountable for an unsafe activity in which they might engage while working.
Recently, Winans was presented the Governor's Safety Award by the West Virginia Safety Council in recognition of an outstanding safety program.
